The Banishing Ritual

Removing Unwanted Energies, Entities, and Malevolent Influences

The Banishing Ritual is used to cleanse a space, a person, or an object of unwanted spiritual energies, lingering entities, or malevolent influences. Negative energy feeds upon negative energy: if left unaddressed, a contaminated space or aura will attract further contamination. Banishing breaks the cycle, purifies the environment, and restores the space to the dominion of the Gods.

Timing

The Banishing Ritual should be performed when the Moon is waning (from full to new). Depending upon the strength of the unwanted energies, it may need to be repeated. For thorough cleansing, perform the ritual every day from the full Moon to the new Moon. The waning phase supports dissolution, removal, and the breaking of unwanted attachments.

What is Required

• Frankincense incense (the most powerful purifying incense in the ancient traditions)
• A white or blue candle
• Your voice, your will, and your conviction

Method 1: Banishing Unwanted Energies from a Space

This is for cleansing a room, a house, or any physical space that feels heavy, disturbed, or contaminated with negative energy.

Step 1: Light the incense and the candle.

Step 2: The Prayer of Banishing

Stand in the centre of the space. Face North (the direction of Zeus). Speak the following prayer with authority and conviction. You are not asking. You are commanding, in the Name of the Gods.

Zeus, King of the Gods, Father of all that lives, Lord of Heaven and Earth:

I call upon You to purify this space. Let Your power descend upon this place and drive out every unwanted presence, every malevolent energy, every lingering shadow that does not belong here.

I call upon the Guardian Gods and the sacred Daemons who serve the Temple of Zeus: descend upon this place. Fill it with your presence. Let no darkness remain where the light of the Gods enters. Let no entity that serves falsehood, chaos, or malice remain in a space that is claimed by the servants of Zeus.

I declare this space cleansed in the Name of Zeus.
I declare this space protected under the Law of Ma'at.
I declare this space sealed in the light of Satya (सत्य).

Whatever is unwanted here: you are expelled. Whatever is malevolent here: you are broken. Whatever lingers here without right or purpose: you are dissolved. The Gods command it. I command it in Their Name.

This space belongs to the Gods. This space belongs to me. You have no authority here. Leave, and do not return.

Step 3: The Vibration of VINASA

Immediately after the prayer, carry the incense through every room of the space, allowing the smoke to reach all corners, all doorways, all windows. In each room, vibrate the word of power:

VINASA (VEE-NAH-SAH)

Vibrate it nine times in each room. VINASA is a Sanskrit word of power meaning "destruction" and "dissolution." It dissolves negative energy patterns, shatters the attachment of unwanted entities to the space, and disperses stagnant spiritual contamination. As you vibrate, visualize the space filling with brilliant white or electric blue light, pushing all darkness outward and dispersing it completely.

Step 4: The Petition to the Dioskouroi

After completing the VINASA vibrations throughout the space, return to the centre. Now invoke the Dioskouroi: Polydeukes and Castor, the Twin Sons of Zeus, the Heavenly Guardians, the Right Pillar and the Left Pillar of the Temple. They are the divine protectors who guard the initiated, who drive away malevolent forces, and who cleanse what has been contaminated.

Polydeukes (the Lion of Order, He who seizes and restores) guards the Right. Castor (the Horseman of Truth, He who shields and defends) guards the Left. Together, they are the Dioscuri, the sons of Zeus whom the Vedic tradition knew as the Ashvins: the Divine Horsemen of the Dawn, the Healers, the Rescuers. When the Dioskouroi enter a space, nothing impure can remain.

Polydeukes! Castor! Dioskouroi! Sons of Zeus!

I call upon You, the Twin Pillars of the Temple, the Heavenly Guardians, the Right and the Left, the Lion and the Horse.

Polydeukes, You who seize what is out of place and restore order: seize every impurity in this space and cast it out. Let nothing remain that does not serve the Gods.

Castor, You who shield and defend, You from whom no falsehood can hide: shield this space from all future contamination. Stand guard at the threshold. Let nothing malevolent pass.

Dioskouroi, Twin Stars of the firmament of Truth: I petition You to cleanse this place wholly, to drive out what prayer has loosened, to seal what VINASA has shattered, and to stand as guardians over this space from this moment forward.

You ride at dawn. Ride through this place now. Let the light of Your passage burn away every shadow.

In the Name of Zeus, Your Father and mine.
In the Name of the Dioskouroi, the Heavenly Twins.
Under the Law of Ma'at. In the light of Satya (सत्य).

Step 5: Closing

After the petition, stand in silence. Feel the shift in the energy of the space. It should feel lighter, cleaner, clearer. Affirm aloud:

This space is cleansed. This space is guarded. The Gods are present. Nothing unwanted remains.

Praised be Zeus, the God of Gods, the Unconquered and Greatest, Father of Gods and Men, King of the Immortals!

Method 2: Banishing a Malevolent Entity

In the rare case that a specific malevolent spirit or entity is present and feeding off the energy of a space or a person:

• Perform the full Method 1 above (Prayer, VINASA, Dioskouroi petition).
• Additionally, if the name of the entity is known, vibrate its name backwards nine times before the VINASA vibrations. This reverses the entity's hold on the space and disrupts its connection.
• After vibrating the reversed name, affirm: "You are no more. You have no power here. You are expelled."
• Then proceed with VINASA and the Dioskouroi petition as above.
• Repeat daily from the full Moon to the new Moon until the presence is gone.

Method 3: Banishing Negative Energy from Your Own Aura

This is essential after any intense spiritual working, after contact with negative people or environments, or whenever you feel spiritually heavy or contaminated.

• Sit or stand in a quiet place. Close your eyes.
• Visualize your entire body surrounded by a sphere of brilliant white light.
• Vibrate "SURYA" (SOOR-YAH) nine times. Surya is the Sanskrit name of the Sun God and a word of solar purification. With each vibration, visualize the white light becoming more intense, burning away all darkness, all heaviness, all contamination.
• Affirm: "I am cleansed. My aura is pure. No unwanted energy remains within me or upon me."

This personal cleansing should become a regular practice, performed after every ritual and especially after any working that involves negative, destructive, or binding energies.

Enhancing the Banishment: The Power Rituals of the Dioskouroi

The Banishing Ritual is powerful on its own. But it can be greatly enhanced by performing the dedicated Power Rituals of the Dioskouroi, which build a deep, sustained relationship with these Guardian Gods and amplify the protective and purifying force they bring to your space and your life.

The Dioskouroi Power Rituals are extended, vibration-based ceremonies that charge the practitioner and the environment with the specific energies of the Twin Sons of Zeus. When performed regularly, and especially when performed in conjunction with the Banishing Ritual, they create a permanent protective field that makes future contamination far more difficult to establish.

If you are dealing with serious, persistent, or recurring spiritual contamination, perform these Power Rituals in addition to the Banishing. The combination is far stronger than either alone:

Performing both rituals before or after a Banishing creates a seal of protection that is exceptionally difficult for any malevolent force to penetrate.
