Foundations of Witchcraft:
Powers of the Mind and Soul
The essence of Zevism is completing our Creator God Zeus's work upon humanity. Zeus was prevented from finishing his work on humanity: transforming the human soul into the godhead.
The "godhead" is spiritual and physical perfection and immortality, along with godlike powers, wisdom, understanding, and knowledge. This is the underlying message of all legitimate occult disciplines: alchemy, the legends of the Gods, the Yogic traditions of the East. They're all allegories containing this powerful message.
Look around you. Everything you see: your screen, your chair, the buildings outside. All of it was once someone's idea before it materialized into physical form. Some things manifest on their own (storms, natural events), but the majority of everything here started as a thought, held with enough force to shape reality.
The ancient Yogic tradition calls this principle sankalpa: the focused intent that precedes all creation. The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali (I.32-39) lay out the exact methods by which concentrated will shapes the material world. Every culture that preserved genuine spiritual knowledge understood this.
What Witchcraft Actually Is
Witchcraft is the use of powers inherent to the mind and soul. The medieval image of hags with pointed hats and cauldrons comes from centuries of Christian propaganda designed to make these powers look ridiculous or frightening.
The real power is seated within the mind itself. Props like amulets, crystals, and stones can amplify energy (this is a scientific fact: crystals transmit and amplify energy), but they're tools, not sources. The source is you.
Covens (groups working together) can be extremely powerful because many gifted people apply these powers in unison. One person can accomplish a great deal. A trained group can accomplish what no single person could alone.
Daemons and spiritual assistants often use animals called "familiars" to communicate and assist practitioners. The familiar offers protection and is a gift from the Gods. Animals are sacred in Zevism and should always be treated with care and respect.
The Three Steps of Witchcraft
Every working follows three steps. Master these and you've mastered the foundation of all magick.
Step 1: Raise Energy
You need energy to work with. The stronger your own energy, the more you can raise, direct, and handle. This is like working a muscle: the more you train it, the stronger it gets.
Ways to raise energy:
- Runes and vibration: one of the quickest and most powerful methods
- The foundation meditation
- Visualization alone
- Hatha Yoga, Tai Chi, or breathing exercises
- Drawing energy from external sources (for experienced practitioners)
You should feel the energy strongly throughout your entire body before moving to Step 2.
Step 2: Program the Energy
Energy by itself is neutral and inert. You have to tell it what to do. This is done through affirmations: short, present-tense phrases repeated with intent.
The present tense is critical. Energy doesn't have reasoning power. "Will happen" can mean any time. You must direct it as if it's already happening.
Wrong: "Money will come to me."
Right: "Large amounts of free and easy money are
coming to me now. This money is all mine to keep and spend as I wish. This money is coming to me in a very positive and happy way for
me."
Energy takes the path of least resistance. If you don't specify, "money coming to you" might just mean your regular paycheck. Be precise. Be specific about how you want it to arrive.
The same principle applies everywhere. Weight loss? Don't just affirm losing weight (the easiest path might be illness). Affirm: "I am losing weight in a very positive and healthy way for me."
Repeat affirmations 3 to 10 times with focused intent.
Key rule: Energy takes the path of least resistance and does not have the ability to reason. Program it carefully.
Step 3: Direct the Energy
Direction happens through visualization. For constructive workings, visualize white-gold light (the astral energy), brilliant like the Sun, infusing whatever you're working on.
See what you want as if it's already real. Feel it. Engage as many senses as you can: sight, touch, smell. The more vivid your visualization, the more effective the working.
For money: visualize your wallet full, feel the bills, smell them. For health: visualize the afflicted area lit up with brilliant energy, see yourself healthy and happy. Feel the emotion of having what you want.
After the working, let it go. Don't obsess over it. Worry and obsession can undo the energy you put in. You can reinforce the working lightly throughout the day (a quick visualization, a few affirmations), but don't fixate. Trust your own power.
Black Magick
For black magick, you don't want to come into contact with the negative energy you raise. Those who lack this knowledge often suffer for it. The answer to everything is knowledge.
Grey energy is the most effective for destructive workings. It's the energy of death, prevalent in cemeteries and places of death. Pull it from the ground using visualization, program it, and direct it to the target. Don't take it into your body. This must typically be done repeatedly over a period of time.
Many popular writings instruct you to raise intense emotion (anger, hatred). This helps but isn't strictly necessary. What matters is the strength of your soul, your will, and your ability to direct energy.
For those who deliberately harm you: direct their own energy right back to them, using grey tones.
Black magick is for bringing about justice.
Summary
- True Zevism is working to advance your mind, soul, and personal powers.
- "Witchcraft" is the use of these powers, which are inherent to the mind and soul. Props and tools amplify energy, but the real power is seated within the mind itself, expanded through power meditation.
- Every working follows three steps: raise energy, program it, direct it.
