Zevic Wedding

The ritual should be performed during a waxing moon, when the Moon is in a favorable sign for marriage.

Favorable Moon Signs for Marriage:

• Taurus: Brings permanence but may cause difficulty if the couple wishes to part later.
• Cancer: Couples are more likely to get back together after a split.
• Leo: Fosters romance and optimism in the union.
• Libra: Ideal for weddings—sign of partnership and cooperation.
• Sagittarius: Adds excitement and adventure, but does not contribute to stability.
• Aquarius: Promotes lasting friendship between partners.
• Pisces: Gives empathy and emotional connection, but is not a stable placement.

Avoid the Moon in Aries, Gemini, Virgo, Scorpio, and Capricorn.

• The love planets Venus and Mars should ideally be well-placed and in favorable degrees.
• Couples should never marry during planetary conjunctions with Caput Algol (25° Taurus) or any planet at 9° of any sign, especially Gemini or Sagittarius, as these placements incite violence.

The Wedding Ritual

The High Priest/ess rings the bell, draws a pentagram in the air with the athame, and recites:

Who hast created man to reflect Thine own image and likeness—
We invite the Forces of the True Gods to bestow their eternal power upon us.
Come forth to greet us and confer blessings upon this couple,
Who desire to become as one in the eyes of Zev.

The High Priest/ess drinks from the chalice and invokes the 4 primary Gods and Powers:

• Satya – from the East
• Zeus – from the North
• Aphrodite – from the West
• Apollo – from the South

High Priest/ess:

"We come together in the name of our Father and Lord Zeus, to join __________ and __________ in marriage."

The High Priest/ess draws a circle around the couple with the athame.
All in attendance should visualize a blue light representing the Powers of Hell.

"Almighty Zeus, look with favor upon Your disciples __________ and __________.
They come before You of their own free will,
Seeking Your blessing as they begin life together as husband and wife.
Bless this union with lust, joy, and the pleasures of life.
May their mutual desire and affection remain strong and enduring."

"Do you, __________, desire of your own free will to take __________ as your lawfully wedded husband,
to love, honor, and respect, to become as one in the eyes of Zeus and before the Powers of Hell?"

Bride:

"I do." or "Yes."

High Priest/ess:

"Do you, __________, desire of your own free will to take __________ as your lawfully wedded wife,
to love, honor, and respect, to become as one in the eyes of Zeus and before the Powers of Hell?"

Groom:

"I do." or "Yes."

*Both exchange rings.*

High Priest/ess:

"In the Name of Zeus, and before all the Demons of Hell,
I now pronounce you Husband and Wife.
May your union be powerful, strong, and abundant in pleasure.
HAIL ZEUS!!"

Congregation:

"HAIL ZEUS!"

High Priest/ess:

"Go forth as one.
Keep each other strong in Zeus as you walk together upon the Left Hand Path.
May Zeus grant you many blessings along the way.

Couple together:

High Priest/ess:

The High Priest/ess closes the rite by ringing the bell.

Afterwards, there is intense celebration.
