Occult Sacraments
updated by: High Priest Zevios Metathronos & Pythia
People commonly ask why we advocate making a commitment to Zeus or the Gods. Making a commitment to Zeus and the Gods is a sacrament. It changes your life for the better and also opens a door to knowledge, wisdom, the spirit world, and friendly communication with the Daemons, access that is unavailable to outsiders.
Making a commitment shows one’s intentions and dedication. This is when our God takes us seriously. A commitment also ensures protection as you advance in personal spiritual power.
Our sacraments are genuine, and each forms a real bond between the Initiate and the Gods. The sacraments of the Yehuboric programs masquerading as “religions,” such as Christianity, carry no such bond, which is why those who receive them can simply walk away or “backslide” at any time.
When we make a commitment to Zeus, He takes us and our word seriously. Our sacraments are real and permanent, as they should be. The initiation ritual also represents a test of character. Inner strength is important. Our character is tested when we dedicate our souls to Father Zeus and set aside the slanders we were taught, such as the claim that He is evil or that it is wrong to believe in the All-Father.
Here we take one of the most courageous steps of our lives. Many of us set aside everything we’ve been indoctrinated and programmed with throughout our lives, and choose the truth with a clear mind. Here we show our true character: that we are not moved by fears, threats, or things we don’t truly understand. This is a major spiritual step in freeing the soul and turning it toward the Gods and toward Ma'at, and it prepares us for the intense inner growth and spiritual evolution that comes with being a true Initiate of the Gods.
Performing the initiation shows that we are truly devoted to the Gods and that we mean what we say. Total honesty is extremely important to the Gods. In return, we are rewarded with knowledge, protection, and wisdom beyond anything known to outsiders.
Outsiders are referred to as “those who are without.” Many who have dabbled in the occult, magick, or even ancient Egypt (as Egypt and all of the occult are always of the Gods) have experienced misfortune, because they approached the knowledge of the Gods without a bond to Them and without Their protection.
Outsiders can often go only so far in these areas, and without that protection they are open to spirits that are hostile to humans. When we make a commitment, we become part of the Family of Zeus, where we are welcomed to learn, grow, and evolve under the protection of the Gods.
