Zevist Numerology

author: High Priest Zevios Metathronos

Study the nature, qualities, and powers of the numbers: from the indivisible Monad to the fullness of the Decad. A path through sacred arithmetic, the Pythagorean inheritance, and the teachings transmitted under the name of Iamblichus.

The Tetractys
1 + 2 + 3 + 4 = 10

From unity to the ordered whole

Number is a language through which unity, distinction, proportion, and completion become intelligible. In Zevist study, its sacred qualities invite the soul to contemplate the Gods and to bring measure into its own activity. Begin with the ten fundamental numbers; then follow their relationships into the wider studies below.

The Pythagorean maxim traditionally rendered “All things are number” expresses this inheritance. Aristotle’s account of the Pythagoreans supplies an early witness to the place of number and harmony in their understanding of the cosmos; it does not preserve that sentence as a verbatim quotation of Pythagoras. A tradition studied with care

The Temple’s original core meanings are preserved on the individual number pages. Their expanded commentaries refer to the Greek Theology of Arithmetic transmitted under Iamblichus’s name, alongside other identified ancient witnesses. Each article provides its own sources. The introductory study explains how numerical form, sacred quality, and practical contemplation belong together.
