Legal Notice
Institutional Status and Public Website Notice
0.1 This Legal Notice identifies the institutional status of Temple of Zeus Foundation, establishes the terms on which public statements may be attributed to it, and records the legal boundaries of its official website and public communications. It should be read together with the Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, and Intellectual Property and Responsible Use Notice.
1. Institutional identity and legal status
1.1 Temple of Zeus Foundation, presented publicly through the Temple of Zeus, is a private interest foundation with legal personality under the laws of the Republic of Panama. It is legally constituted under Law No. 25 of 12 June 1995 and the other provisions of Panamanian law applicable to private interest foundations. Its purposes are religious and include related lawful activities carried out in accordance with its constitutive framework and applicable law.
1.2 The Foundation is the legal institutional vessel through which the Temple of Zeus conducts its authorized religious work. References on this website to the “Temple,” the “Temple of Zeus,” “we,” “us,” or “our” refer, according to context, to Temple of Zeus Foundation acting through its duly constituted organs and authorized channels.
1.3 This statement describes legal constitution and institutional purpose. It does not assert governmental approval of doctrine, a general exemption from law, preferential public status, or any legal effect beyond that conferred by applicable law and the Foundation’s valid constitutive instruments.
2. Institutional independence and legal separateness
2.1 The Foundation possesses its own legal identity, patrimony, governance, purposes, rights, duties, and institutional voice.
2.2 No person acquires any institutional relationship, status, capacity, right, or authority in respect of the Foundation except to the extent established by applicable law or a current written instrument validly issued under its governing instruments. No liability or obligation of another person is assumed by or attributable to the Foundation except on the same basis.
2.3 Religious or communal recognition belongs to the religious life of the Temple. It does not, by itself, constitute formal institutional membership, create a civil-law office or interest, or make a person part of the Foundation’s legal personality.
2.4 Formal institutional membership exists only after the admission required by the Foundation’s governing instruments has been completed and recorded through an authorized written act. Institutional membership alone confers no governance status, beneficial interest, agency, employment, representative capacity, or authority to act or speak in the Foundation’s name. Any such consequence must arise separately under applicable law or a current written instrument validly issued through the Foundation’s lawful governance.
3. Authority to speak for or bind the Foundation
3.1 No individual speaks for, represents, or binds the Foundation unless that authority has been expressly conferred through the Foundation’s lawful governance and remains current for the matter concerned. A title, username, profile description, personal relationship, platform role, ceremonial function, use of imagery, or access to non-public material does not by itself establish legal or institutional authority.
3.2 No statement made outside an authorized Temple channel may reasonably be relied upon as an institutional commitment unless the Foundation confirms it through a current official communication. Silence, delay, or failure to correct a third-party statement does not constitute adoption, ratification, consent, or waiver.
3.3 Any authority conferred by the Foundation is limited to its stated subject and duration. It may not be enlarged by implication, custom, personal assertion, or representation made without authority.
4. Official doctrine and institutional position
4.1 The Temple maintains its own doctrinal voice. Its official doctrinal position consists only of current doctrinal texts, declarations, and institutional statements that the Temple expressly publishes or designates as official on www.templeofzeus.org and that have not been superseded.
4.2 Mere appearance on a domain, archive, cache, search result, mirror, quotation, translation, discussion page, or public platform does not make material official. Historical material, third-party material, personal commentary, user-generated content, automatically generated summaries or search responses, and superseded versions do not state the Temple’s position unless the Temple expressly adopts them as current institutional doctrine.
4.3 Where an official text identifies a controlling version, that version governs. Translations and accessibility renderings are provided for understanding unless expressly designated as controlling. The current Legal Notice, Privacy Policy, and Terms of Service govern their respective subjects from their stated effective dates, subject always to rights that applicable law does not permit the Foundation to limit.
5. Personal expression on every platform
5.1 Members, participants, contributors, volunteers, moderators, guests, supporters, and other individuals retain their own voices. Their statements, conduct, political views, theological interpretations, advice, publications, posts, messages, recordings, and other communications are personal unless the Foundation has expressly issued or adopted them in its own name through an authorized channel.
5.2 This distinction applies across websites, forums, social media, messaging services, meetings, publications, broadcasts, and every other public or private platform. The use of a Temple name, image, title, link, or affiliation does not alter the personal character of a statement and does not create an inference of approval.
5.3 The Foundation does not adopt or assume responsibility for personal expression merely because an individual is associated with the Temple, because the expression concerns religion, or because the Foundation has not answered or removed it. Nothing in this section limits responsibility for a communication that the Foundation itself has formally authorized and issued.
6. Freedom of thought, conscience, religion, and belief
6.1 The Temple affirms the equal freedom of every person to hold, adopt, change, practice, express, or decline a religion or belief, alone or with others, subject to the lawful protections owed to the rights, dignity, safety, and freedom of all.
6.2 Participation in Temple religious life must be voluntary. The Temple does not claim civil authority over any person and does not authorize coercion, harassment, discrimination, or unlawful interference with another person’s conscience or peaceful religious practice.
6.3 Respect for another person’s legal freedom of religion or belief does not imply doctrinal agreement, institutional affiliation, sponsorship, or endorsement. It expresses the Temple’s commitment to lawful and peaceful coexistence.
7. Nature and purpose of the website
7.1 The official website provides religious, doctrinal, liturgical, educational, cultural, historical, community, and general informational material. The material is offered for voluntary use and must be considered in its stated context.
7.2 Nothing on the website constitutes legal, medical, psychological, financial, tax, investment, safety, or other regulated professional advice. Nothing creates an attorney-client, physician-patient, therapist-client, fiduciary, confessional, employment, agency, or similar professional or special relationship. A person who requires professional guidance should consult a suitably qualified professional in the relevant jurisdiction.
7.3 The website is not an emergency service. A person facing an immediate risk to life, safety, or health should contact the appropriate local emergency or professional service.
8. External services, links, and references
8.1 The website may link to, embed, reference, or interoperate with services and material outside the Foundation’s operation or control. Those connections serve convenience, context, or functionality. They do not, by themselves, establish ownership, control, endorsement, sponsorship, agency, or responsibility.
8.2 External services may apply their own terms, privacy practices, availability rules, and content standards. Users should review those rules before providing information or relying on an external service. The Foundation is not responsible for changes made by an external service or for material that it does not control, except to the extent responsibility cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Protected material and permitted use
9.1 Certain names, identifiers, texts, images, compilations, software, and other materials appearing through the website are lawfully sublicensed for use through the website. Access to the website does not confer authority to reproduce, alter, register, commercialize, impersonate, misattribute, or suggest institutional affiliation through such material. Any permitted use is limited to the permission expressly stated with the material or to a use that applicable law independently allows.
9.2 The Intellectual Property and Responsible Use Notice explains attribution, quotation, consent to share, brand integrity, plagiarism, correction requests, and proportionate enforcement in greater detail. It preserves every use that applicable law independently protects, including lawful criticism, review, reporting, scholarship, parody, and fair quotation.
10. Accuracy, continuity, and reliance
10.1 The Foundation seeks to present its official material accurately and with due care. Religious, educational, historical, technical, and legal material may nevertheless be revised, translated, reorganized, corrected, withdrawn, or superseded. Availability may be interrupted, and a search, translation, automated tool, or archive may produce incomplete or outdated results.
10.2 No representation is made that every page will be available, complete, error-free, suitable for every purpose, or current at every moment. A person proposing to act on information with legal, financial, medical, safety, or other material consequences must independently verify it and obtain appropriate professional advice.
11. No waiver and no unintended legal effect
11.1 Publication of information, correspondence, an answer to an inquiry, or the availability of a contact method does not waive any right, privilege, immunity, defense, objection, formality, or protection available to the Foundation under applicable law. No informal communication modifies the Foundation’s constitutive instruments or creates an obligation unless made with actual authority and in the form required by law.
11.2 If any part of this Notice is found invalid or unenforceable, it shall be applied to the maximum lawful extent, and the remaining parts shall continue in effect. Mandatory law prevails wherever it cannot lawfully be varied.
12. Relationship with other website policies
12.1 The Privacy Policy governs personal data. The Terms of Service govern access to and use of the website and related services. The Intellectual Property and Responsible Use Notice governs responsible reference to protected identifiers and material. A service-specific notice may supplement those documents for a particular feature. If provisions address the same matter, the more specific provision governs to the extent of that matter, while mandatory law remains controlling.
12.2 This Notice supersedes earlier website legal notices concerning the same subject from its effective date. It may be updated when the law, the Foundation’s activities, or the website changes. The version published on the official website with the latest effective date is the current version.
13. Legal and administrative contact
13.1 Legal and administrative correspondence concerning the official website may be sent to [email protected].
13.2 The publication of this address does not authorize unsolicited commercial communication and does not, except where applicable law provides otherwise or the Foundation expressly agrees in writing, constitute consent to service of legal process by email. Sending a message does not create a professional, fiduciary, confidential, agency, or other special relationship, and receipt is not guaranteed until acknowledged through an authorized response.
