Ahamkara Mudra
The thumb presses the side of the bent index finger. The seal of healthy self-assertion.

Formation
- Curve the index finger forward.
- Press the upper phalanx of the thumb against the side of the middle phalanx of the index finger, toward its upper part.
- Keep the middle, ring and little fingers straight.
- Form the same seal with the other hand.
Example Meditation
Rest the hands on the lap in the seal, or one hand at the solar plexus. Breathe into the solar plexus and feel the body straighten. The seal gives an upright bearing and counters fear and timidity.
