Mudras: Advanced

The seals of this level carry the soul beyond itself: gnosis, contemplation, the serpent and the rite. They are woven into the whole meditation, from its opening to its close.

Using the Seals

  1. 1

Open the meditation with a seal of reverence or of the rite, such as Atmanjali Mudra.

  2. 2

Hold a seal of gnosis or of contemplation through the central meditation.

  3. 3

Close the meditation as the Temple teaches and release the seal with it.

Example: A Meditation with the Seals

  1. 1

Open with the palms joined in Atmanjali Mudra before the heart and turn the mind to Zeus and the Gods.

  2. 2

Rest the hands in Jnana Mudra and practise the Foundation Meditation until the mind is still.

  3. 3

Change to Dhyana Mudra and enter the Void Meditation.

  4. 4

Return to Atmanjali Mudra in gratitude, release the hands and close the chakras.
