Dynamic Mudra
Each fingertip meets the thumb in turn with a syllable: Saa, Taa, Naa, Maa. The seal of the moving mind.

Formation
- On each exhalation touch one fingertip to the tip of the thumb; on each inhalation open the hand.
- Go from the index finger to the little finger, speaking one syllable with each contact: "saaa", "taaa", "naaa", "maaa".
- Practise with both hands together.
Example Meditation
Rest the hands before the body. On each exhalation touch one fingertip to the thumb and speak its syllable; on each inhalation open the hand again. The rhythmic seal relaxes the nerves and quiets the mind.

- Relaxed nerves. It relaxes the nerves and brings inner relaxation.

- Calm through rhythm. Breath, syllable and movement fall into one even rhythm.

- Brain activity. It promotes brain activity and concentration, in the manner of the finger games used for speech and learning difficulties.

- The cycle of life. In Kirtan Kriya the four syllables are read as birth, life, death and rebirth.
