Δ Death

Death is near, and Death is king; the necessary illusion, and the realest outcome.

In death, there is no escape. How certain are we that we must escape it, too?

As the great sword of death hangs above our heads, we must remember to live our lives and that we are here to live. We are also here and set to die, so think carefully. Where will we go?

In Zevism, death is only more incentive to exist and to grow. Our practices will give us a glimpse of the beyond so that death can be approached in knowledge.

Δ Prayer:

"O Satya, Master above Death,

Grant us understanding of our own departure,

Bless us so that we may live."

Transliteration

Ō Satya, despota hyper thanaton,
dos hēmin synesin tēs idias apodēmias;
eulogēson hēmas, hina zōmen.

Meaning

The prayer asks Satya for understanding of departure and a blessing upon life.

Ἐν θανάτῳ οὐκ ἔστι φυγή· πῶς δὲ βέβαιόν ἐστιν ὅτι καὶ φεύγειν αὐτὸν δεῖ;

Τοῦ μεγάλου ξίφους τοῦ θανάτου ὑπὲρ κεφαλῆς κρεμαμένου, μεμνῆσθαι χρὴ ζῆν· ἐνταῦθα γὰρ ζῆν ἐσμέν. Καὶ τελευτήσειν μέλλομεν· διὸ σκέψαι ἐπιμελῶς· ποῖ πορευσόμεθα;

Ho Thanatos · Transliteration
